To reach level 2 you must have 250 total points. If you drop below that you will again be on level one. You may answer and vote on 20 questions a day giving you 2 points and 1 point respectively. Asking questions relieves you of 5 points but you get 3 back when it is resolved. Once you reach level 2 you will be able to rate others with a thumbs up or down but you will receive no points for that. You will get nothing but your own satisfaction for reaching the next level and helping others in the process.
