And no, "when he died" is NOT an acceptable answer; someone said exactly that of Captain Kangaroo.

Not necessarily Steve Irwin himself; you can talk about any of his adventures.

I loved when he was on "Live with Regis and Kelly". He cracks me up when he was working with Kelly and the crocodile. He was such a super character. It was hard to pick my favorite, because they are all super. Anytime I was flipping through the channels and I saw him, I just got drawn in!! Everyone knows he was crazy... but that is only because he is so passionate about everything he does. Whether it is his work, his family, or anything in his life, he did it with 100% passion!! He will be greatly missed!!

My biggest and best memory of Steve Irwin is the joy he gives my 3 year old daughter - he did a DVD with the Wiggles - my daughter LOVES this DVD when he died and his face was splashed all over the TV I was shocked and could only think of his family who star in the DVD with the Wiggles along with Steve, my daughter didnt understand what had happened she just remembered that DVD and now likes to watch it over and over again.

There are so many of him. He was a remarkable human who had a special talent when it came to animals. I loved the way he was always say "Crikey". He loved what he did and I don't think too many people out here can say that about their jobs and really mean it. He will be sorely missed.

The first time I ever seen him was on a programme called the 10 most poisonous snakes or something. He was demonstrating the deafness of snakes, so he leant over a poisonous snake and shouted 'HEY SNAKE!', the snake didn't move - I fell off my seat. He was brilliant.
