I'm from the Boland, but live in Seoul, Korea. I miss my mother, father and in-laws the most.
And Castle Lager.

Hallo there. I seem to be the only one that does not miss South Africa. I am from Benoni, on the East Rand. Have been in England for nearly a year and absolutely loving it. As far as food stuff goes, I found a fantastic place to buy the best rump steak ever. I have also found a South African shop in Essex that supplies me with mielie pap, Fanta orange and biltong and the best chillie dry wors. Yes, I did leave some adult children and a couple of dogs behind, i do miss them but feel that I have created an oppertunity for them to travel abroad.
We have lots of braai's here, even better than back in SA. I am now very proud to call England my home.

I'm from Pretoria and I'm still here. I'm in my twenties and the thing I miss most about SA is how when I was a kid we used to be able to play in the street till after the sun went down without our parents being too worried. I miss seeing kids in the street at dusk. Take a look outside tonight -see any kids? Probably not.

In London tonite (have been for 3years) but from Scottburg
I miss biltong, having braais outside and going to the beach on Christmas day, when it's p*** cold and even snowing this side, only raining.

I MISS NANDO'S!!!!
Everything else I can have shipped here...Gingernuts, Stoney Ginger Beer, All Gold Tomato Sauce. But there are no Nando's franchises in the States. My fiance and I went to Canada a few weeks back and found one in Toronto. We ate there every day!

I miss the singing of the birds,the beautiful clouds in the sky when the sun sets.

i am from south africa but I'm currently living in the USA working as a nanny, i miss everything from south africa, all my friend and my relatives, sitting here in the us with all of the terrorists activities, id rather be back in south africa with crime, people over exaggerate about the crime anyway.

I am from Nelspruit, in Mpumalanga and I am currently in USA, I miss my family, friends, the braai's, rugby, all the proudly south african things. It is a beautiful place and I really miss it.... I miss speaking afrikaans and I miss all the children who have respect for their parents, not these stout gatte in America...
