When you look up into the night sky, all you see is black. Ever wander where "it" ends? If space is infinite, is it still building?

yes, the universe has a physical boundary beyond which there is no existance (ie, no length, width, height, time, etc). as far as TIME goes until the end of the universe, there's alot left, and there's even a chance that this universe is stable and won't expand until we all die or collapse back in on itself... of course the chances arent great, but they're there. fortunately, our sun will go red giant LONG before all that, and in the process earth will be swallowed up whole.

The end is the begining. In theory you could look straight ahead with a telescope and you would be looking at the back of your head. Or hold a stick straight out infront of you and poke yourself in the back.

In the universe there is nothing that is truely straight, everything is bent.

Again I am shocked by what the others write.

We just don't know ... our ability to look far enough to discover something like a boundary isn't developed well enough yet ... So we don't know.
There are several theories, some saying there is and some saying there isn't any end ...

Besides, would it matter?

It is bigger than we can ever see. When we look deep into space we look back in time and have already seen back to a time to when the view was not pretty.

If there is an end to the universe, wouldn't it be interesting to see what is on the other side?
