People seem to be getting offended. I asked myself the question too and I ask myself other silly questions all the time. I know my reasons but I wonder if it is a useful passtime.
So does Answers add value or is it just another form of information overload?

That is an interesting question...I am at work and I am working but multitasking is much more stimulating for my brain...speaking of inane questions does this one not qualify for this category or do you wish to qualify the question with answers?

Because 8 or 9 hours of work per day is excessive, most people don't have things to do, or they can do what they have to do in much less time.
