It has a nucleus before it matures.

remember all the organs and cells of human body are developed from a single egg cell??
egg cell is eukaryotic
so anything which develops from it is eukaryotic, even if it doesnt have a nucleus... all cells in human body are eukaryotic

Earlier in the development of red blood cells they have nuclei, they loose them later on.
