I know he was in full support of a constitution and a formation of a union, I just need some extra input as what else he was trying to convey .

Strider, Hamilton does note in paper 1 that power will corrupt if it's not balanced amoung certain branches But i do agree with you the fouding fathers would frown on what the administration has done to the constitution they created .

In federal paper #1 Alexander Hamilton conveyed the message of this new nation to be governed by separate powers with checks and balances. He quoted abuse of powers from the empires long since past and how power corrupts. Even with two branches one can still gain control. Alexander believed power need to be on the federal level. And that absolute popular votes should note be the direct count which is why we have an electoral college system. He understood the mob rule and how fast it can swey. Government can not be so judgemental or flexable in manner to opinion.

That in a democracy, absolute power corrupts absolutely. As free people, we need to be on guard and watchful, hence the need to keep arms, so that we might be able to overthrow an overzealous power hungry ignoramus when his family buys him the Presidency.

Sorry about that - I am not really sure what Mr. Hamilton was trying to convey, but I am sure that most of our founding fathers would be astounded by the way the current administration has trampled upon the Constitution.

He was saying that the government should be for the people. That no one group or party should become all powerful, and that we as a people should watch for and prevent such things from happening. The government should not dictate policy to the people, the people should dictate policy to the government.Our freedom should not be compromised......
