Would it be normal to have VERY faint cramps within the first few days after you conceive? I used an ovulation kit on Friday and it was time to start trying to conceive. My husband and I have had intercourse everyday since. Now this morning I feel like I am having VERY fiant menstral cramps. I know it is WAY to early to test. I was just wondering if that might be a sign that I did conceive?

As you, I to was trying to concieve and a few weeks back (couple days after sex) I felt strong cramping and was worried. I had a doc check me out and found nothing. Then just yesterday found out I was pregnant. I work for doctors and they say everyone's body reacts differently to pregnancy and you can have early cramping and flu like symptoms right after concieving. Good luck to you.

Sorry no, I have NEVER felt conception as I also have never heard of others 'feeling' conception.

I want to say it's your hope and your own mind creating these feelings you are experiencing. Be careful...because you can easily become devistated by the news you are not pregnant when you so 'clearly felt it'. Relax. If you don't, you will have even more difficulty conceiving a baby. I find that a few glasses of white wine has usually produced a baby boy nine months later.

It could possibly be implantation occurring - I had IVF so I knew exactly when I was to expect to be pregnant as do you with your ovulation testing - When I was pregnant I did feel like I was getting my period but it was a kind of faint feeling not full on.

I have a friend who has been pregnant 5 times and each and every time (even though they were not trying) she knew the day after she conceived she has no idea why she knew but she was correct every time.

Good luck to you and your husband!!

I didn't notice it with my first, but definitely when we were trying for the second baby, I knew literally within a week that I was pregnant. I had the crampy type feelings and just that "instinct" that I was pregnant. For the first month-2 months I had crampy feelings and then started morning sickness (yuck!). Sounds like this may be the time and the embryo is trying to implant. Good luck and hope it works out for you!

No. Impossible, because implantation after conception takes 7-10 days so you would not have any symptoms until after implantation occurs.
