t.A.T.u. (Russian: ТаÑÑ) is a Russian pop music duo consisting of Elena Katina (also known as Lena), and Yulia Volkova (aka Julia). The group in their early years are most known for being marketed as a lesbian couple around the world. In December 2003, they admitted on Russian television that it was only a marketing strategy. They used to have official e-mails at their russian website (taty.ru), but since it's been so americanized and translated into english, they've since disappeared and i'm sure the e-mails are abandoned.
