The perivous owner of this hospital I didnt like cuz he didnt like dogs, How can I check up on this new owner ?

You can look up vets at the State Board of Veterniary Medical Examiners (this is in TX but all states will have something similar). Even if a Vet is properly licensed and has no complaints against them they may still not be the Vet for you.
I would ask relatives, friends, coworkers for references. I have come across 2 vets that one of my cats absolutely hated, I never went back to either one of them. I now have an awesome vet that one of my coworkers told me about.

There's is not any one place to check on the new Vet. Get some word of mouth references, or go somewhere else. I can't believe there would be a Vet out there who doesn't like dogs. He probably had a mental problem.

Each veterinarian is licenced by the state in which he or she practices. Try using a yahoo or google search on the following words : veterinary registration - I found a bunch of different states using these two words, probably yours is on here.

you can go there to find out if any professional has been reprimanded at all. This isn't quite what you are looking for but at least you can see if there are any complaints against this person or marks on the license.
