A friend who is trying to change me is not a friend at all. A friend should accept your flaws, personality, likes and dislikes, and basically accept you for who you are. I would talk to my friend and be honest with that person. If all doesn't go well, at least you know who your true friend is. Nobody can't change nobody and it is up to that person to accept their personalities or just leave them alone.

For me, a friend who is trying to change me, is unacceptable. Actually, for me, it means that the friend doesn't like me. A friend must accept my character, personality - my flaws. I cannot be and don't want to be someone else. I think a real friend would not try to change the essential me - a real friend should accept, understand, sympathize, empathize with the real me.
So, what do you do if you are in this situation? Well, if you can talk about it, this is the best thing to do. If the two of you have reached an impasse, the friendship may be over. Of course, it's drastic to end a friendship, but it is also drastic when a friend behaves in a way that is detrimental to the friendship - what can be worse than not accepting your friend as he is?

Tell them to leave you alone. You're fine just the way you are. If they don't agree, that's their problem. Maybe they're the one who needs changing.

a friend changing me that is so wrong. if a friend doesn't like the way i am then i won't bother with that person at all. meaning she/he isn't a good friend at all.
