Wow tough question, I've been through a stage of having each CSI show as my favourite show at some point! My favourite one at the moment has to be NY though, I'm not sure why exactly, just something about the pace of the show, the depth of the characters, its quirky and surprising. Even though its my fave occasionally you'll have a stand out show from one of the others like Gum Drops in CSI and Whacked in Miami. CSI is the mystery show, CSI:Miami is the action show and NY is more psychological. All three shows are filmed beautifully and really make use of the cities they're based in. Currently Danny Messer is my favourite CSI, he's just kind of a mystery, he has so many issues and I'm not sure if we're ever gonna work out his true motives. Its great to see how he's matured over the course of only two seasons. I'm also a huge Sara Sidle and Tim Speedle fan.

There has never been a television show like The Sopranos. Before David Chase had the guts to make it there had never been as much violence, robust language, sex and nudity as there is in The Sopranos. Six Feet Under would never have been made were it not for The Sopranos.

The Sopranos rewrote all the rules. Rule number one: the bad guys and the good guys must be clearly defined. Not in The Sopranos. Is vulnerable mobster, Tony Soprano, a bad guy or a good guy? Rule number two: each episode must be self contained. In The Sopranos plots and story lines are spread over several episodes and even across series. Rule number three: blood and gore is not for mainstream television. Well, guys are whacked on The Sopranos with unblushing abandon. Rule number four: explicit sex is not for the small screen. Tony Soprano and his gang are seen having sex all over the place. He is even filmed shagging his mistress in the gorilla cage in NY zoo! Rule number five: restrict language. Not on The Sopranos. The "f" word is used as regularly as "hello". Not even the "c" word is off limits. The mobsters in The Sopranos speak like real mobsters.

The Sopranos is quality. A television show that ranks up there with classic films like The Godfather and Goodfellas.

Quantum Leap over Red Dwarf. (But I prefer The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., starring Bruce Campbell.)

Quantum Leap was a great show. Wish it would have stayed on longer. Though right now I would have to say Law and Order or ER
