the fastest speed i ever reached **** was 206.22 mph
it was in a 2002 ford mustang corba ( pro 5.0 race car )
the car made 2100 hp and it did it in 6.62 seconds in the 1/4 mile

The speedometer in my Barracuda was buried (120) when the blue lights came on. Still had another gear to grab. The radar tagged me at 114, but the ticket was for 108 in a 55. Double the speed limit would've got me a free ride to jail.

In a race car, it was hard to tell...no speedometer, but it was about 135 MPH. The car was a Formula Ford, & ideally they can get to 150 MPH.
Street car, in the US, was a '75 Corvette, up to 120 MPH on a measured mile road.

I've been over 170mph on a rice rocket years ago. Pushed 140mph in a car. Went a lot faster on a plane.
