I took 2 grandchildren just a couple of weeks ago. One just turned 2 and the other will be 3 in October. They loved it. It is all about sea animals and has a lot activities for children from shows to petting dolphins.
The almost 3 year old asks to go back daily and he talks about it all the time. Take your 3 year old and have a blast. Our 2 year old was born 2 months early and is a bit behind in her motor and developmental skills and she still loved it. Don't let others talk you out of it. Your child will love it.

I have a son that just turned 4. We live near Sea World San Antonio, about 60 miles from it. Our Sea World has whats called a Silver Pass. It only cost about $9 more than a one day ticket. It is good for this operating season. The season here lasts weekends all the way through November. And we just got the passes in the beginning of August. We have been 4 times already. So I would definitely say that is a better value than a one day ticket if you live close enough and you will use it more than once. Also, this way, if your child has an off day (ours did the first visit), you can leave and know that you still have your pass and can return whenever. I definitely recommend starting a little later in the day. My son still takes a midday nap, so what I do is let him stay up later than normal the night before we plan to go, then let him sleep late the morning of. That way we can get through the day without a nap. And it does hold his interest. He really enjoys himself when we go. He is to small for the bigger rides, but our Sea World has some rides for little kids and he likes those. Also he loves the shows. And ours has a water park and of course he adores that. Hope this helps. And have fun if you go. Warning though, the sharks may be a bit much for a 3 yr old. My 4 yr old is scared of them (thats what ruined our first day) we saw the sharks first. Then he was scared of everything the rest of the time.

SeaWorld is a pretty good park. As far as for a three year old, I definitely think that there is quite a bit to do. A lot of the shows with the animals are really neat. It helps to plan ahead on which shows are when and planning your day around that. I imagine that the thrill rides won't be necessary unless you have an adventurous child. You could probably spend half a day there, but if you take your time, see all the shows and enjoy the park , you could probably spend a good part of the day there. I went few years ago and had a great time.

Sea World is a really beautiful park. If you child will like it, just really depends on the child. If he loves animals and going to the zoo, he will probably love Sea World. But, if he is bored doing these things, you may want to avoid it.
There aren't very many rides, it is mostly goign to shows, etc., so you also need to consider if he would still enjoy going to shows and such. Sea World is pretty popular among young children, but it just depends on the child.
As far as how long. You could easily spend the whole day there, which is the best way to go. You can go at a slow, nice pace, and relax. It is a beautiful park and I really enjoy going to it!

NoNoNo!!!! I went to Sea World with my 3 yr old son on August 7. It was horrible. Not that much for kids and the shows have breaks in them that bore the kids. My son was such a terror there. I will not even consider taking him there for at least 3 more years!

My 3 year old son has an annual pass to Sea World and we go quite often. His favorites are petting the dolphins, seeing the sharks, and watching Shamu show.
You can go through it and have it well covered in 3-4 hours, but he and his six year old sister love it and we've gone five or six times already this year.

Sea worldwide is lame, wide-unfold is larger. wide-unfold Studios has purely a million curler coaster and the rest are relaxing simulation attractions and issues like that. it is sister park, Islands of journey, has all of the curler coasters. in case you do in comparison to curler coasters wide-unfold Studios would be relaxing.
