How about if you don't like the asker? Do you report them? If you want to report someone, do you enlist the help of others to get that person a violation notice? If you do, shouldn't you stay in the sandbox, and let the adults play their game?

lacha...no, I'm not in high school, and as much as your petty insults bore and annoy me, I won't report you...;)

you are correct, MELT. The only thing that behavior does is to stir up more crap. Sorry the crap is mine, blame the ones holding the spoon.

yes, proud, like I said, let the adults play their game. Pay attention next time.

If I don't have an answer, I don't try to answer.

If I don't like the asker, I don't read the question. I've learned my lesson and am trying to steer clear of the ignorance that runs rampant on this site.

It goes both ways. Some people could stand to learn to ask a political/philosophical question with intellectual detachment and an honest curiosity regarding the answer instead of posting a soap box driven diatribe begging for agreement.

I've never reported anyone for a political question.

The Usenet groups had their flamers, blogs have their trolls, and message groups have their bullies. They just ride hard on someone who's comments they don't like in order to get the poster to give up on the group/blog/board.

Here Yahoo came up with the reporting system in a noble effort to keep things civil. They didn't count on the people who would take advantage of the system. Some people have been "violated" by orchestrated groups who pounce on them just for having answers that prove them wrong or who simply disagree with them.

They seriously need to grow up. Could you imagine if people behaved like this at work?

Well heidi...

Who's playing games here? *Since* you have better grammar and punctuation than 7 out of 10 people on these boards I think it is safe to assume that you are no dummy. It is you playing games. Why try and stir people up? We get enough of that here already.

You need a hobby dear.. Something away from the computer.

No mam - that violates the principal established by our founding fathers in the 1st amendment. It is unamerican to do that. As crazy as kookoo and some other die hard libs are on this forum - I would never report them just because I don't like them.

Occasionally I have, mostly for really blatent racism. Reporting someone because you don't like them is silly but this is a moderated forum with specific rules. People have a right to report someone for breaking the rules and it doesn't make them a child. And if this place wasn't moderated it would be full of spam and people asking to chat and no one worthwhile would come here at all.

I report abuse to Yahoo! answers!

It does not matter who you are, if you
treat Answers like dirt, I will report you.

I will not report questions and answers which are not offensive and within the guidelines, even if I don't like the poster.

----REPORTED-----

Just kidding. I wish there were no reporting other than spam, advertising, threats, etc... . For me its just like radio/TV if you don't like the question, move on to the next...

The liberal report posse ,that consists of pro-illegals and folks who coddle terrorists, report people quite frequently.
