This program WILL save your life if you have a drug/alcohol problem and you want help.

*********If you are a member , the experience with meetings in my area is; I think the focus is too much on "I am an addict and it appears to add to more relapses 'cause that is what addicts do'. The focus seems to be on the drama, of the past. etc. There is too much given for the newcomer to compare with, rather then identify with. I just go th the other one ...they have all of the same answers.
I know there is more but I do not have the energy.

I haven't been to any NA meetings. I am an AA member, and I know many people in AA who go to both. It seems pretty much similar to AA. I find AA to be a worthwhile program. Not perfect, but nothing is. It's really just a bunch of people who have a common issue, and they share with each other what seems to work (and also what does NOT work).

AA works for a lot of people. It doesn't for others. But I believe that it doesn't matter what the program is. It depends on the individual. An alcoholic/addict has to truly want to stop using. If that is the case, then anyone can get clean and sober, whether in AA/NA or not. AA and NA are just tools for people to use. They are not 100% the answer for everyone. But they are an imporatant part of the answer.

Love, Jack.

My take is 30% off the top and then 15% on the residuals.

If you want it than it will work. Take what you like and leave the rest. Good info does not replace good info.

It's cool I suppose...they got their program from A.A.'s 12 step program. It works if you work it. One Day at a time, simple steps for complicated people.
