Sorry I'm old school and still hate the chase deal. Kurt Busch could sweep all 10 of the last races and still not win the championship. It also gives the other non chase guys nothing to do for 10 races. True you could get 11th,but so what. All the hype & air time goes to the chase guys. I don't like the new system or the top 35 rule.

I'm more interested when the "glory boys" (like Dale Jr. and Gordon, who get all the media spotlight) are NOT involved and some of the "also rans" get a chance to shine.

But Matt Kenseth is going to win the Cup this year anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Matt Kenseth is going to win the Cup this year anyway, so it doesn't matter if anyone is more intereasted since earnhardt and funny boy gordon is in it this year. i could honestly care less if it was a buch of two year olds out there fighting for the win as long as matt kenseth is in it nobody else stands a chance of getting close to a win

There will definitely be more fans involved. However, the closeness of the 10 racers in competition will be really incredible. This could be a chase that is decided on the final lap at Homestead in November.

If they are in it, they are in it. If not, then they are not. I almost think it is a better story when they DON'T make the Chase because it just shows that they aren't invincible. They have to work at it just the same as any other driver. It just irks me when the media attempts to put one driver above another just because of his entertainment value. I respect these two drivers, but there are 43 cars on the track every race and each of them have the right to race just the same.

I wouldn't say I'm more interested because they are in it. Sad because Ryan Newman had a crappy year. Neither one will win the championship, but I'd rather see Jeff Gordon win than Jr.

To be honest, yes. I still don't like the "chase". It cuts out 10-15 drivers each race that have as good a chance as the top ten to win. It sucks.

I'm a Dale Jr fan and I watched it last season when he didn't make it. Dale Jr missing the Chase is not going to stop it!!

I'd be more interested if Kasey Kahne makes it in there. He's my favorite driver. However if he doesn't then I won't really be all that interested. I just hope Jimmy, Gordon, and Stewart don't win.

I was interested last year and I am a Jr. fan
