Because it the easiest form to get absorbed into the blood stream.

Infact most of the food we eat, gets first covnereted to fructose and glucose and then absorbed into the blood.

Glucose is a simple sugar. Our cells are made in a way that we can burn glucose for energy. As a molecule of glucose is broken down in our cells to make water and carbon dioxide chemical bonds must be broken. The energy released when those bonds are broken is where the energy comes from.

There is actually one more molecule involved--ATP. When that chemical energy I mentioned above is released it is used to convert ADP to ATP. When we need energy we get it from breaking off the last phosphate group in ATP, converting it back to ADP. When you eat a Frosty the sugars are converted to glucose and then the energy released can "charge" those ADP molecules and make them ATP again.

Because glucose is what is required in metabolism for your cells to work. It's fuel for them. Eating glucose means your body has to do least work to arrive at the glucose which your cells need as fuel.
