I got my nipples pierced about three months ago and they've been fine, but now one of them is falling down. It was pierced in the center and now it's slowly growing down because it had scabs on the sides that fell off and the hole kept growing bigger. Now that boob is slightly larger and denser than the other one. I'm afraid it's filled up with some kind of infection or something. My piercer also moved to Arizona, so I have no one to work with. Does anyone know what I should do?

You can go to any local piercing shop. You have to be careful taking out piercings if they are infected because it's a puncture wound, which means the hole can close up and trap the infection in there.

There are lots of websites for different piercing shops. They usually have an address you can email questions to.

sounds like you may have a metal allergy-as the skin is trying to pull away from the jewelry. Also the fact that your breast is larger and denser, not a great description but if it's sore/warm to touch, any discharge (green/yellow-white or slight yellow is fine) it could possibly be infected. It is going to reject from this if it is a metal allergy, or just incorrect placement. Go to a piercing studio and have them take a look-it may be possible to save the piercing with a switch of jewelry or you may want to remove it (if no infection is present) and have it redone

go to any piercing parlor and talk to anyone there. if you had a friend do it unprofessionally then just tell the Professional piercer. you may just want to take it out. My husband had his done back in high school (professionally) and his nipples ended up sorta deformed now. his look like his nipples are hard all the time, but they aren't. Be careful. you don't want to end up with bad scars on them!

It sounds like the piercing may be rejecting. I suggest that you see your doctor as infection is a possibility. Signs of infection include: warmth, redness, tenderness At the very least, I would take it out, before it permanently deforms your nipple.

Have a doctor look at it. You may have an infection, and if you do you'll want to get it treated right away.

yes, see your dr. If it's a possible infeciton, you need to check into it. Otherwise the infection could cause worse problems, even gain green if not treated.
