Is this a question in light of the accusations in Ohio State's engineering dept...the article was in the Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago?

I think that the real problem is the deterioration of the standards of teaching (esp. research methodology) at many universities. Students do not come equipped with research skills esp. in fields where technical analysis is emphasised at the undergrad level. No one bothers to teach good research methodology anymore.....
