I am sure she is the same type of person that oppose Euthanizing a dog, before she would save an unborn child. Anyway great question. I like the idea of allowing the mother the right to view her fetus by ultrasound before making a decision to have an abortion. I think it should be mandatory.

First term abortion is destroying a set of cells which has not yet become a sustainable life form. There is also several years of precedent suggesting that women (not the government) should have the choice whether or not they carry their pregnancy to term. This is a decision that a woman makes affecting her body and the cells inside. It is her decision, and it is not subject to legal error or prosecutory discrimination. Personally, i don't advocate abortion; I feel that it is primarily a women's issue, and as a man I don't feel entitled to affect the law one way or the other. I also think that the cells don't yet have sentience or a soul. Furthermore, as an American, I recognize the individual's right to choose for themselves.
The death penalty, however, is a potentially abused form of punishment. Why do a disproportionate number of poor criminals end up on death row? The potential for people to be innocently convicted weights heavily against the argument for the death penalty. What happens when you kill the wrong guy? In addition, it has been shown to be an ineffective deterrent.
These may be some of the reasons why she feels the way she does. I know I sleep just fine at night.

Until Roe v. Wade is overturned, the governor's position on abortion is almost irrelevant - the right to have an abortion is determined by federal law.
How can anyone possibly think of voting for DeVos?
A rich guy who couldn't even pass his classes at a college his dad donated millions to. Who had to finish at a fourth rate proprietary school. Who couldn't even hack it at his dad's company and who instead ran a business selling closet organizers? Who was so interested in civic affairs that he couldn't bother to go to meetings of the MI Board of Education and was forced to quit his post as a director after only 2 years of a 6 year term. Who was inspired to run for governor because he noticed there were a lot of pot holes in a road?
This guy has lived a parallel life to Dubya, perhaps minus the drug and alcohol abuse. Look what happened when Dubya was elected. The people of MI deserve more than an inept clown who can buy an office.

regrettably a lot of human beings sense that the smaller somebody or some thing is, the better it rather is to justify killing it. have you ever observed how basic it rather is to kill, say an ant, yet we've worry , and rather a pair of times sense in charge might desire to any individuals attempt to kill a bigger animal like a dogs or a horse? i've got extra this up only to point out the reality that some human beings sense no be apologetic approximately whilst it contains killing something alive, extraordinarily no count if it rather is as small as an unborn toddler, with complete dismiss of the potential that each and each individuals has to convey happiness to others. What if Einstein or different staggering human beings were aborted. We wouln't be status precisely the place we are, could we? yet some human beings in simple terms lack the potential to contemplate those issues. in simple terms my opinion.

The same way her opponents can oppose abortion, and support the death penalty. Its all a game of opposites.
The reasoning is, its better to not have an unwanted child than have it and let it grow up to be a murderer, then be executed. The opps.. see it the other way.

These are two completely separate issues. I am with her on a woman's right to choose, but she is way off on the death penalty issue. Certain crimes warrant the death penalty (and not just to conserve tax dollars, or air for the descent people) such as serial rape, murder, or pedophilia. Repeat offenders with no remorse or desire to rehabilitate....what would you do with them?

The world isn't black and white. A collection of human cells is not a rational, moral human being. It's like saying a cancer tumour should be given a burial, just because it's made of human cells.
