If you want to reduce your hair growth, assuming that you are a female, i suggest using natural remedies, follow these steps
if ur problem is minor:-

1.Wax the area where u would like to reduce ur hair growth, let it be even your face - no worries , just do it properly(over a long period it reduces hair growth.
2.Use turmeric
3.Try using pumice stone as a scrub.
4.Grind green gram and keep it in a jar.Make a paste of it daily and apply before bath, after its semi dry scrub it off, its slightly pricky (that's due to hair getting pulled)....this if continued for a long time will reduce even fine hair, will reduce ur blemishes and make u fairer too, it's something i follow everyday

But if ur problem is Acute
then try these:-
1.Consult an Endocrinologist to rule out hormonal imbalances.
2.Try laser treatment(costly-literally 5000/sitting just for face & neck for SLP diode)
3.Have spironolactone tablet for some months -stictly after consulting a doctor- this reduces hair growth all over your body.
4.Try electrolysis-its cheaper than laser but requires more no of sittings.

Hope ur query is sufficed

I think you mean to say prevention of growth.

If you are looking for a natural way here is the remedy:
1) In the night apply wet turmeric powder and take bath.
2) In the morning apply green gram flour mixed with curd, let it dry then peel off the layer and take bath.

do not shave!!! this causes the hair to grow back back thicker and faster and coarser, have it epilated or waxed this can keep it under control and makes it grow back slower and finer. do not shave!!!
