The media tends to blow things so far out of proportion. So what if Tom and Katie didn't want to show pictures of their baby. Maybe they just wanted to enjoy her without all the hoopla and other people that they don't know ogling their baby. Do you think she's cute? And do you agree the media made too much of them not showing the baby?
On another front, I do agree that Tom Cruise has gone way too far with his Scientology belief. It's one thing to believe what you believe but another to condemn others who do not share your beliefs. Do you agree?

Yes, the baby is cute and I agree with keeping thier first weeks private. Having a baby and starting a new family should be treated with the upmost respect which is what the media tends to forget. the birth of the "first born" is very special to a couple and should be treated as such. Shame on the media for making a fiasco out of such a blessed event. I also agree with you on Tom Cruise. He is too outspoken on HIS beliefs and should shut his mouth a little more. It is probably why the media made such a fuss about Suri. He acts like a big shot so he's being treated with the same repsect big shots get sometimes. Oh well.....

She is cute enough, but looks too much like Tom. Yes the media would not leave them alone. I understand wanting to keep their baby from the media, i mean do regular people have to show off their baby to everyone in the world? it's a little crazy, although I know as a celebrity your life is obviously different. Why is everyone so obsessed with their children and them in general (im one of them, haha). Tom Cruise is a bit out of control. I'm not a fan of his anymore, that's for sure.

I think Tom wanted all that attention. His career was on the way down. Now it is down and out. It was his last 15 minutes of fame. He probably got paid for that photo. The link on the top of this site tries to see the vanity fair magazine. Nope no money for Tommy Boy. It goes to scientology anyway.

I totally agree. It's a baby! If it was the next GOD or some religious saint great but it is just the child born into silence - weird!

I'm glad that they kept her under wraps until it was under their terms to show her to the world. Unlike some other celebs...
