please do not install avg.
goto zonealarm.com and install the download.uninstall any anti virus you have got from this and run zonealarm.this is only a free to try but if you entre this code in the changs lic you will then have the full programme.im shore you will be very pleased as ive had this for two years and never had any problems at all.it updates its self and blocks any virus,blackhorse,pop ups and more.

AVG Antivirus, free and no need to buy updates, it automatically does that, although they do try to sell you more.... no need. I've never ahd a virus with it compared to maybe two or three serious ones a year on paid for anitvirus programs.

Some good free stuff eg Avast & AVG.
Why not buy a PC mag with a DVD & look at the various ones there? You will also have a hardcopy of anything you install.

Lots of people are recommending AVG these days but i have found that antivir is much more effective, i ran it straight after uninstalling AVG and it found 3 viruses!! you can get it from

AOL Safety and Security.,. It updates automatically and is very easy to use. Also d/l "Computer Check-up" and "Active Security Monitor". They are all free and Judging from where I go, it's doing a pretty good job....

AVG is totally worthless. It is JUNK. I recommend antivir free edition.
