(i) She could have added hot water instead of cold water. The tea should taste very bland and with a tinge of bitterness. This is because substances (compounds in the tea and sugar) dissolve better and faster in a hot solution (water) than a cold one. If she had wanted iced lemon tea, she should have added some hot water first to dissolve the tea and sugar, mix it well before adding the cold water.

(ii) The tea she made is a suspension because the sugar and tea did not dissolve in the water completely.

This is a suspension, the sugar does not dissolve in cold water nor does tea leaves . Use boiling water to steep the leaves and dissolve the sugar. Then ice cubes for the "iced"

(i) The tea compounds were not released as well in the cold water. Tea is usually made in a powdered form in order to liberate the compounds better.

(ii) The tea she made was a suspension. In a solution, the molecules will be dissolved in the liquid based part.
