Steve Irwin died in the great barrier reef in northern Queensland Australia. He was nick named the Crocodile hunter and ran a crocodile farm in Queensland. He was a great wildlife conservationist. He will be sorely missed by all us Aussies.

Steve Irwin. It was on Monday.He died after being struck in the chest by the stingray's barb while he was filming a documentary in Queensland's Great Barrier Reef. He pulled a stingray's serrated barb from his chest before he lost consciousness and died.

Technically Steve Irwin didn't die yesterday. It was three days ago. Very, very sad though. What a full on guy. I'm actually on the sunshine coast where he's from. Its full on.
