ive never though blood was thicker than water.., unless it came from me. i dont have any other meaning for family and i have no shortage of water on any given day.

Dependability. Love. Support.
My family is my life. I am raising 2 grandchildren and I have friends who ask me why. My answer is always, " what else should I do?" The only other option is to give them over to the state and I couldn't live with myself if I did. They are my family.

family is a group of people who are important to each other and offer each other love and support, especially in times of crises. They all have seen each other at there weakest and highest and can accept each others flaws

To me, family means a person or group of people who love and support you, not necessarily having to be blood kin.

It is a safety zone, A place you belong, Something that shapes your identity, that can hold you in an identity you would like to break away from. Somewhere to go, something that evolves. A source of conflict and misunderstanding and love and acceptance and something you need therapy for.

it depends on which part of the family you are talking about. The crazy step brothers, the convict step sister, the felon aunt or the insane aunt...also known as "Aunt Insanity"..or maybe you mean the drunks or the cousin on crystal meth. I am the only good one!
