I remember being in the local cheap shop when the first plane hit. They reported it as a terrible accident. Then the woman reporting said another had struck, and she sounded as shocked and bewildered as we all were. Then another hit the Pentagon. A day of infamy.

Just like when the suicide bombers struck in London on the tube and blew up that double decker bus. I was on the Cardiff bus coming home from the hospital and wondered what every one was going on about. Once at the bus station there were armed police everywhere, and over in the train station.

Horrible when terrorists strike. It brought back the bad old days of the IRA.

It looks as though this brought all the Bush haters out of the woodwork. I feel for ya'll. It must be really difficult going through life being that ignorant and gullibale holding that much hate. But then again, you were brought up to blame everyone else but you (or the offender) for the action.

You have my pity....

Pretty darn ridiculous. Did you ever see Farenheit 9/11 (movie)? It shows even more ridiculous footage of Bush in the classroom reading a book to the children (this time it's actually right side up) and shows his reaction when someone comes in to tell him about the first plane. Pretty unbelievable. And infuriating how long it takes him to actually get up and go do something about it.

Since there are more people in the room that Pres. Bush, the staffer is most likely to be talking to someone else.

This is however, the most rediculous question.

Marys2boys....Fahrenheit 9/11 was a farce, a comedy, not anything to be taken seriously. It's certainly not anything to base your political philosophy on. If you think that movie was a *documentary* you have been duped, played, bamboozled.

First it was his Director of communications not chief of staff and what is ridiculous about it? You are either a news reporter or a liberal, either way you never seem to get the information right.

Yes it is ridiculous - but the caption is more ridiculous - they already knew what was happening - that dude is probably just pointing out the bit he was responsible for to Rove - "it was my idea to smash that plane into that building!" and they've just got GW on the phone to order Pizza.

How is that ridiculous? You have no idea what is going on there. I think you're just a Bush hater and your trying to find something out of this picture to make fun of when it's just him doing his job. Get a life.

I don't know, but I want to know what's behind the little carpetted door in the nose of the airforce one jet in one of the other photos on that site.
