what is your DSL company. Mine is Verizon and it is set up outgoing.verizon.net and incoming.verizon.net. It is usually that simple. I have to make sure I click the box "My server requires authentication." in the Server tab.

You can try and follow the instructions in these answers, and do it yourself, but I have found by experience the least painful way to do this is to call your provider. In your case the phone company. They should have sent you instructions in the first place, but would have no problem helping you out if you call the help desk. The DSL / phone company IT folks should be able to talk you through it in no time.

Hi,

SMTP and POP Server names are provided by your ISP. It differs from company to company

If you are using Bellsouth:
POP: mail.bellsouth.net
SMTP: mail.bellsouth.net

For gmail its:
POP: pop.gmail.com
SMTP: smtp.gmail.com

Probably if its something else mail me your ISPname .... i will do the research and will mail you back... or else you can call your ISP tech support to get the info.

Good Day and Happy mailing

Call your DSL provider or go to their website to find the addresses. Just enter them in during setup.

the server for your e mail provider has incoming put and outgoing put.
usually incoming server has this address POP3 (pop.PROVIDER NAMA.com) and outgoing server has this address (SMTP.Providername.com).
