There could be so many causes. Start with your diet. Are you eating a good breakfast? You should be getting an adequate amount of protein (about 30% of your calories should be protein, which could come from eggs, meat, beans, and dairy).
Next, be sure you are getting adequate rest. If you feel tired upon awakening, you are probably not getting the right kind of rest. My Dr. had me get Melatonin, and over he counter herbal medication to take at bedtime. It helps me feel rested without giving a drugged feeling.
A good multivitamin with B-complex may help.
If these don't help a lot, then see your Dr. for a good physical. Have him check your thyroid, blood count, and B12 level, and evaluate depression.
If these are good and you still don't feel better, be persistent that your Dr. keep looking. Some auto-immune disorders begin with severe fatigue.

you don't mention your age or your situation at home, but as a single mother in her late 40's with 2 teenagers, i was feeling the same way - you could try a multi-vitamin, but more important is try to get the proper sleep, even if it's "naps" during the day. also your diet may need to be changed - drink lots of water and eat vegetables - cut out fats. I find walking or jogging more helpful than a home gym. You are outside breathing in fresh air, which also helps reduce the stress levels. Have your doctor run some blood work - there may be an underlying problem, like thyroid misfunction.

You should try an enerygy drink called XS. You can only get it online through a company called Quixtar. That stuff works wonders for me. It also doesn't have all the sugar and stuff so you don't crash after it starts wearing off. Also do some stretches several times during the day to get your blood flowing better.

I suggest that you get a full physical and a complex metabolic panel done to make sure everything is where it should be. Also, look at your diet. Are you eating enough and frequently to keep your metabolism going strong? Some people need to eat mini meals throughout the day to keep the metabolic rate where it needs to be and keep their energy level where it needs to be. Good Luck!

like that one person said...are u depressed?!..and another thing is to go to the MD because you could be anemic or have a thyroid problem...best to check it out...we all have days when we don't feel motivated....are you trying to do too much exercise?! too much of anything is not good for you...cut back to every othe rday or just 3 or 4 times a week.....exercise can be boring unless you're really pushing it and get those endorphins (speed feeling) pumping in ya!
