The speakers are mounted in my SUV but the frame of the SUV is close to the permanent magnet of the speakers. It is a 4-way speaker sometimes the woofer part goes silent but the tweeters continue playing what causes this. They are 600W 6x9 speakers.

It really shouldn't prevent the speaker from working. Having speakers close to metal objects can affect the speaker output, but only in the sense of sound quality. This is because sound waves tend to ricochet off metal. For instance, having a concert in a building with a lot of exposed metal results in a really poor sound. Whereas playing in a hall that has baffles or is composed mainly of wood helps produce a great tone. So you're speakers might make the frame of your SUV reverberate, but it shouldn't keep them from working. I'd suggest rechecking your connections to make sure there are no loose wires or shorts.
