By bus, with Vermont Transit Lines for example, it would take approximately 7 hours (Boston to Montreal). The time may be different depending on which part of Canada you are traveling to.
If you are driving, you can go to mapquest.com, type your from and to address, and get an approximate travel time.

If you're heading straight north, not long at all. Check with Mapquest for the exact mileage. If you're heading for somewhere else, you'll have to be specific. Canada is a VERY large country. Larger than the USA, in fact. So it could take several days to get somewhere other than the coast.
