The queer space is a cool place to go and have time out, why not for your first venture in there - just go in with a book you need to read for uni so you've got a good distraction in case your to nervous to talk to anyone. but I'm sure you'll find that every ones really welcoming and friendly and who know...you might even find someone really cool to spend your time with!!
