It's called guilt trip tactics. Nutcase inbred Conservatives try to guilt trip people into their ways. Only problem is is that nobody buys it anymore. People have seen how conservatives are trying to manipulate people.

For example, look at this quote and you will see how the conservative guilt trip tactic works.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

sound familiar?

I don't honestly believe Air America or the Rush Limbaugh talk shows are anti-American.

They typically echo and broadcast very near the extreme ends of their party's agendas.

When their dialog gets dangerously close to outright lies and propaganda, they certainly aren't winning many converts - and they're even less effective when they personally attack opponents rather then the opponent's political positions.

Anti-American - actually, it might be just the opposite.

Listen to these shows and others like them if you must, but balance what you hear with opposing views and, more importantly, get the facts and decide for yourself.

I didn't realize they were anti-American. Limbaugh is an idiot.
I may not AGREE with Air America, but that doesn't mean they're anti-American.

You obviously don't listen to them, and as their rating show neither do most people. It is hard to put together a radio program by hiring mental midgets, robbing money from church groups and shouting about how great you are. Not impossible, just highly improbable.

Rush Limbaugh is a successful capitalist with 20 million listeners. Air America is a failed socialist concoction with 2 listeners. Listen to them, than they can have three.

Is Air America anti-American? It's difficult to know, it's not on in many cities and the ratings are so bad they have to steal money New York charitable organizations to keep operating. Frankly, I've never heard it. I've never heard Rush either though.

I can't stand Limbaugh and I am a republican.

Air-America has nothing to do with anything going on today. It was 30+ years ago.

To conservatives, even the slightest opposition to what they say is anti-American. They have little tolerance for those who dare to disagree with them, especially those who disagree with their idol, Limbaugh.
