Because it is an interesting thing to do, and maybe I can help someone like I have been helped.
But the points are a bit of fun!

A bit of both. Mostly for the interest in things people ask and I have to say some of the things asked have made me do a few double takes. I skip over the sex ones and nasty expressions and look for genuine human concerns which I try to answer honestly and with compassion where such is needed as I see it.

For the knowledge, it's great to find things out and what other people think.
I got to admit that I'm bored with the stupid questions that get repeated time after time.
