Generally a teacher who also coaches earns a salary for both jobs. The coaching job's salary depends on the age group, generally the hed coach of a middle school team earns roughly 2,000. A high school freshman coach earns 3,000. A JV coach, 3,500-4,000 and a Varisty coach, between 5,000-8,000, depending on the district.
