yes, the often due, mainly due to the fact that they are doing something else for the school. At the schools in my area, they tend to make 2 to 4 thousand extra dollars for each season of sports that they coach.

Generally a teacher who also coaches earns a salary for both jobs. The coaching job's salary depends on the age group, generally the hed coach of a middle school team earns roughly 2,000. A high school freshman coach earns 3,000. A JV coach, 3,500-4,000 and a Varisty coach, between 5,000-8,000, depending on the district.

Most schools pay a teacher/coach the regular teacher pay for teaching and a stipend for the coaching.

Honestly I doubt it. Dont know personally but I do know teachers dont make enough money period.
