I'm not sure about the safety issue. Quite honestly, I'm not sure that it's safe NOW. You may want to discuss other options for your honeymoon, and possibly have a backup plan.
If you have your hearts set on Cuba, then make sure you do a lot of research about travelling into and out of the area, as well as finding out where American Embassies are there in case something comes up.
Have a great honeymoon!

You expensive inaccurate youthful guy. If Castro dies, we've not something yet more beneficial of a similar until eventually Raul dies. the authorities received't fail to the favor of the folk because Castro or Raul isn't the concern - the U. S. is the concern. there is not any ability vacuum - Fidel is the ability. If Fidel dies, Raul is the ability. Now about the exiles interior the U. S.. they're third, 4th, fifth era Cubans the following - it really is THEIR domicile. They argue and shout about returning, yet it really is merely political manipulation. This crew of Cubans has manipulated US coverage in direction of Cuba ever because the Bay of Pigs. So don't be fooled. no man or woman is going domicile. regrettably, the U. S. made Castro the corrupt hero he's in his us of a. And we ignored the danger to render him inappropriate even as the Pope visited Cuba some years in the past. We ignored yet another probability to render him and the communist regime inappropriate even as he gave ability to Raul. All we necessary to do change into merely get rid of our embargos and sanctions. Cuba would flourish. even if the only ingredient preventing one of those move are the Miami Cubans. MAKE NO MISTAKE.

Cuba is totally safe, the Cubans are the most beautiful people I have ever met, totally friendly and will do anything for you, its the only place I have felt safe in for a long time, I walked back to our hotel on my own one night to get a book to give to another holiday maker and felt as safe as houses, I wouldn't walk to the end of my street alone here, the Cubans look out for you and if you have any worries or problems they will go out of their way to help you, they take you into their hearts and respect you.

I dont know. But it is about time for Fidel Castro to die anyway, he has been king, president or dictator of Cuba for like, 47 years to be precise. If he dies than life goes on right?

Safe. Both of you should wear a "I hate America, I love Castro" tee shirt and you will be okay. Or, just stay in your hotel room all day.

if you are an American citizen it would illegal for you to go to Cuba unless you are of Cuban descent or have relatives there. if your passport is stamped and come back to the states you will be prosecuted.
