The one and only, mister Christopher Lee.
He did an amazing job in LOTR, playing Saruman. Too bad Peter Jackson didn't include him in the third part of the movie.
Lee had known Tolkien, and makes a habit of reading the novels at least once a year; his knowledge of the trilogy was so broad that he was frequently consulted on-set as a Tolkien advisor

Christopher Lee. He said that he reads the trilogy at least once a year during an interview when asked how he felt about being asked to play Saruman the White (he didn't play Sauron).

I'm sure it is Christopher Lee. He said that during the filming of the films.

Sounds like something the mighty Stephen Fry would do. Mind you I'm sure with his mind he'd probably remeber most of it after the first read so perhaps not!!
