Whats the gear shift pattern for cbr and r1? Is it da same for all hondas and yamahas?

CBR's, R1's and most sport bikes have 6 gears. 1 down - 5 up.
Touring bikes and cruiser bikes don't need a close ratio gearbox to keep the revs up, so they have 5 gears. 1 down - 4 up.

Every bike I have ridden, Kaw, Yamaha, Suzuki, Harley, Honda has the same shift pattern. 1 down and 4 or 5 up.

the shift pattern is all the same on all bikes even on domestic bikes
