I feel the pain. I enjoyed watching him. At times I would say "quit bothering those animals" but I know he had this gift of loving animals. He wanted all of us to see them up close. To know them to love them. He also wanted us to know that they can be dangerous if provoked. I learned a lot from him. I will miss him so much. It is very sad. I feel bad for Terri and the children.

Can you be any more insensitive?
We all lost a great man when he died.
If more of the people in the world was like Steve Irwin the world would be a better place. And for you to say he had it coming,is so wrong people like Bin Laden have it coming and no one can put Steve Irwin in a class with the likes Of Laden.I truly hope when you lose a loved one no one is as insensitive to you as you were here.

Yea, I feel your pain. I really did think he was entertaining. But come on! Like you said, his job was dangerous! It is ironic how he was'nt killed with a crocodile, but a sting ray! The poor crocodiles don't have their human interpreter anymore. Sad.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Yes, it is a very sad thing. He risked his life everyday to teach us about conservation and education on animals. I feel for his family. It's a shame his children won't be growing up with him around, only on TV.

I felt bad for him. He has 2 young kids, and he was only 44. He had a really cool show.

I feel your pain but I have another question, How does the animal kingdom feel?

I mean, are they silently celebrating telling each other " at least he won't be jumping on our backs any more and making fools of us"? Or are they actually crying too?
