That depends on whether or not its power supply / adapter supports multiple voltages along the lines of 100V - 240V. If it is a laptop, you need to check the "brick" and see what input voltage requirements are, again looking for something in the range of 100V - 240V*. Likewise, if it is a desktop, you need to check if it has a voltage switchabel power supply.

If the voltage does support multiple voltages, 100V end for US, 240V end for other countries, then you will just need an adapter to convert the power cord plug. If it does not support multiple voltages, then you will need a power transformer to convert the voltage, along with a plug adapter.

*Even if you are in other contries than the US, the power supply / adapter will need to cover the 200V - 240V range or you will still need a transformer.

You need to make sure the adaptor converts it from 110v, which is used in Germany to 230v which is used in the UK. Make sure before you buy or you'll end up with a fried motherboard and processor.

Apologies to those who live in Germany now. It's been many, many years since I was last there, and it was 115v that was used then.

yes

the power supply in germany is 220/240volt the same as we have the only difference is the plug that goes into the sockets

buy a new lead and it will work fine

the power supply's the same as UK, you'd just need a pin adaptor. If you're in the US then it's a different matter, you'd need an adaptor.

......Yeah absolutely no problem, you could just chop off the German style plug and put a UK one on it instead.
