Plasma reducing has many reward, which has made it an alluring application in lots of different industries. This reducing technique makes use of a gasoline jet, charged at great speeds to diminish steel as much as six inches thick at very intense temperatures. Plasma reducing would be accomplished on any style of conductive steel - easy steel, aluminum and stainless are some examples. With easy steel, operators will adventure quicker, thicker cuts than with alloys.

Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through electrically conductive materials by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Typical materials cut by this process include steel, aluminum, brass and copper though other conductive metals may be cut as well. Plasma cutting is often used in fabrication and welding shops, automotive repair and restoration, industrial construction, salvage and scrapping operations. Due to the high speed, precision cuts, combined with low cost of operation, plasma cutting sees a widespread usage from large scale industrial CNC applications down to small hobbyist shops.

Plasma cutting is a thermal cutting process in which a constricted arc is used. Polyatomic gases dissociate in the arc and partially ionize; monoatomic gases partially ionize. The plasma beam thus generated has a high temperature and kinetic energy. It melts or partially vaporizes the material and blows it away. Thereby the kerf is produced. The sheet thickness which can be cut is limited since for plasma cutting the whole heat required to liquefy the material has to be made available by the plasma cutting.

unless you will use it consistently, i would suggest save youre money and use sheers. i bought mine and it works great but i sold it at a huge loss as i did not use it enough to justify the cost.
