Sounds to me like he has a guilty conscience! Cheaters are often overly suspicious of their partners. But why would she even want to stay with him if he doesn't trust her? Trust and honesty are the most important things in any relationship.

Narcissistic, unbalanced, likely cheating himself and majorly over possessive with huge self-esteem issues. He most likely knows it is not true but makes it up as an accusation, hoping for her to confess to something, anything, to help him relieve conscious for cheating on her.

She should not tolerate; pretty soon he will probably start accusing her friends of her against him and demand that she dump them. This is psychological warfare and she should dump him before he brainwashing her into thinking she is nothing and he is her whole world.

your friends has to come to her sense and respect herself first. i think that man is on primary state of pscho and will make a hell out of this friendship. some men are very good with others but very suspicious to their love ones, but their behaviour is going to harm the poor girl. i hope your friend can decide what is best for her.

Get them to go over there together and meet him. Then the boyfriend can see that the guy doesn't know her from a bar of soap. Of course I'm assuming the boyfriends not going to go over there and knock his block off.

All the best

It is, likely, far more complex than this.
He's probably deeply frightened of being replaced.
She's probably a flirt.
Neither of these are "bad" but they dont mix well.

Way to jealous, but I don't think it would cross the line to psycho till he starts sending mean notes to the neighbor or painting "She' mine" on his door. (in otherwords till he start outing out)
