I don't know how bored you are - but if you are not at the stage of weighing your belly button fluff to stem the drudgery of Lost, then I am more bored than you.

I watch it and I will continue to do so but I don't see what all the hype is about.

What gets me is the fact that Season 1 was made before Season 2 was commissioned - so they had written the 'what's down the hatch?' cliffhanger before deciding what was actually down the hatch (at least I think so...). So for the whole of Season 2 I just had the feeling that every episode was dragging the storyline out for the sake of it - that there was no overall plot that was being revealed a bit at a time, they were just making it up as they go along.

Then I read that this is actually very true - they never know who's going to die next and the writers are not afraid to kill off main characters. They wanted to kill Jack very early in Season 1 but were talked out of it. He has gone on to be a very major player.

Personally I don't like the way it's written - they're just winging it. I feel cheated that we were led to invest so heavily in Anna Lucia throughout Season 2, including a couple of episodes dedicated to her backstory, just to have Michelle Rodriguez quit (or not renew her contract, whatever it was) and have Anna shot abruptly. It feels like I've wasted my time on her. It's overly dramatic and way over drawn out.

So God knows what they will introduce in Season 3, or what excuses they'll make up for introducing new characters.

I am, however, impressed with the way that despite the fact that I really don't feel like it's worth investing in, I'm still drawn in occasionally and some revelations really do astound me. I loved the 'Dave' episode, and I'm intrigued at the implications of the ending of Season 2. So they're doing something right to make me keep watching even though there are things I don't like about it. I wouldn't say it bored me, but it does take too long to get to the point. You can watch an entire episode and sum it up in a sentence.

I love Lost how can anyone be bored of it with so many un answered question. Just who are the 'Others', what do the numbers really mean? and why are only the 'good ones' being taken by the Others and what is it about the island that has cured Locke? I am still in shock after Michael shot Ana Lucia!

Clearly u r looking at this show and not watching it. Lost has meaning for instance Jack and John Locke-Science vs Faith or Eko and Locke-religion vs philiosophy. If a programme is dealing with these topics and trying to show both sides of the argument then it's going to take a while. I say hang in there and engage your brain

I'm not sure how far on you are. But there was a time I was pretty bored with it. It got better again and now it's really good. Hope it stays that way

I'm liking it now, I think the second season is moving at a better pace than the first! That was the worst bit when they just played golf for an episode!

I think the writers are Lost. I mean, I wish they would make sense or reveal something already. They keep going in circles and nothing is really surprising anymore.

No not yet. Will do soon though because like most of these programs they keep making them until people stop watching instead of stopping when the going is good.

It's getting too many "cast back" bits in it. Lost Interest more like.
