i am from india, please suggest me some good Diversified and Balanced mutual fund schemes, depending on the scheme i may go for SIP.

There is a good site that you can use to research the various schemes and make your own determination. Here it is. Be sure to pay attention to the expense ratio of the fund.

Dodge & Cox Balanced Fund is hard to beat.
American Balanced Fund is a great one too.
