They are building a nuke to protect themselves from the USA. They have a fear that the US will try to invade their lands....I as an American, think this is a very real fear given what we have done to their neighbors.
I have forgiven Iran for the taking of the US embassy as most Americans have as well.
I truly believe this is another Cold War where fear and misunderstanding is leading us both down the wrong path. It is up the the citizens of each country to work this out together and pressure our governments to do the right thing.
