It. it is not only his best book but the best ever written...

Richie Tozier is my favourite character. He's just so... unstoppable. He has the same trouble of not being able to keep quiet when a great comment comes to him that i have, and it's equally troubling for both of us

I think IT is his best novel. In essence a simple story between good an evil but with the best character development you will ever see! A group of adults find that the lurking evil they were so scared of when they were children is very real indeed and have to face it - an amazing study of the changes that age can put you through, or indeed not put you through.

I love the Dark Tower series, it has to be his best work, but in many ways it doesn't work without the other books to stand on. As he has said it's 'his Jupiter' in his solar system of works. As far as the single novels go though, it has to be IT.

I'm also a fan of some of the more obvious 'Stephen-King-esque' novels - Pet Semetary, The Shining, 'Salem's Lot, Carrie, The Dead Zone, The Tommyknockers.

My stab at guessing yours - Pet Semetary and Gage Creed!

I loved every book I have read by Stephen King. I have loved everyone that has been mentioned so far. I also loved The Shining.

I am currently reading the 7th book in the Dark Tower series.

I quite like Salem's Lot. I am reading The Green Mile at the moment though and that's very good. His recent one, Cell, wasn't one of his best though, but an entertaining read. My favourite character is Christine, the car. I wish cars had a mind of their own and went on psychotic killing sprees. Best book is definately IT and best character in that was Stan Uris.

Loved The Stand and The Dark Tower Series (and I have read every single darn thing the guy has ever written) and gotta say I have a soft spot for Trash Can Man!

My favorite is The Stand. I have read about 5 paperbacks of that to tatters. I finally got a hardback!

My favorite character in the book is Tom Cullen. So simple and funny. I liked Trashy too. He was God's pawn and didn't even know it.

Pet Sematary is my favourite, but I've read only 5 books of him for now... I don't like very much the characters of his stories, they are special but...
Yours is The Shining and Jack is your favourite character! Did I guess?

Pet Sementary was the first I ever read, and it is the best for me because I wasn't prepared for Mr. King! Favourite character is Church, the born again puddy cat.

I don't remember reading a King book I didn't like, but I haven't read all of them. My favorite would be a tie between Eyes of the Dragon (first I read) and IT because it was just too cool.
