Because you are at higher risk for infections, not just STDs. And for pregnancy, so you definitely need to go to the gyno, Especially since you are 20, a pap smear checks for cancerous cells & other things that you NEED to be aware of.

Once you started having sex, you should also start visiting your gynae, at least within the first 3 years to get your first pap smear test done to check for cervical cancer. And these checks should be regular.

well you should go because they will check for std thats really importent and they will do a pap smer which will tell you if you have anything abnormal going on inside they give you birth control so you dont have an unwanted baby theres more good reasons to go

if you dont get pap smears you'll never know if you have cervical cancer or many other stds, especially since many don't have any symptoms!
