1. Dig a hole about 2' deep, maybe less if you aren't staying long. Relieve yourself in the hole an if it is number 2 put a layer of dirt over the top. The hole should be DOWNWIND of the camp and about 25'-50' away. Clear a path of any sticks or sharp stones. When you leave, cover the hole and mark it with a stick or flag so the next guy doesn't dig there or pup his tent there. Next to some bushes is a good place, but not if the bushes are poison ivy.

2. Cleaning yourself. Well, if it is a short trip, you can just use bottled or local water to wash your particulars (under the arms, crotch, hands and feet. You can use soap if you want.

3. It is a good idea to wear something to bed that will cover you, especially if there are a lot of insects (bring bug repellent). Also, if there is an emergency, all you need is your shoes.

4. Keep your food in an AIRTIGHT box or container. Do not keep food near the camp or anywhere in the open.

Have fun.

You can wash with wet wipes, they also make a wipe thats made specifically for camping its like a big wet wipe except its for the whole body i believe zest makes it. To go to the toilet is easy just find a big tree to lean agaisnt make sure you bring toilet paper. Dont trust leaves for a substitute you can get a rash or a worm or parasite of some sort. Where a pair of shorts under you camping clothes and use a t shirt to sleep.

If you have to go to the bathroom. You just step behind a bush and bend over. Hopefully the others are mature enough to give you your privacy. Take along a roll of toilet paper. It will go back in the earth. Just be sure to pack all your other trash back out with you.

Sleeping in the tent wear a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to bed.

Washing if you are near a creek that is where you will wash your hands unless you all are packing water with you.

You will have lots of fun. Camping is great.

I go camping every year here in the States.I'm assuming your are camping in the UK.I would suggest buying a few things since you are camping in an area with "no facilities".My wife and I tried diehard camping,I bought a "Porta Privy" toilet, A "Porta Shower",and all essential gear and food for survival.I would HIGHLY reccomend getting a book on camping in the wilderness.I have one myself. It teaches you extensive knowledge on EVERYTHING.
As far as what you wear,It depends on the weather.Get a sleeping bag for the expected LOWEST temp. you expect it to be on any night.I wear "camo" pajamas.I hope you will have some adults with you.

As far as washing, you can get a hot shower bottle at camping stores. It heats the water up via sunlight.Or, I used"astronaunt" wipes, they require no water and they smell good.

Wear shorts & tee shirts - all around - for bed.

When washing/toileting, etc, send pairs - one can keep watch (with their back turned) while the other does their thing. Then switch off, but never be completely alone.

Have you considered camping in a safer location???

Sharing a tent shouldn't be a problem; its up to each of you to be mature enough to keep your pants on and hands to yourselves.

You did not say how young you guys are but if you are younger than 20 and your parents allow you to go camping alone with your mates, then something is wrong. You should be worrying more about the camping decision than what you'll wear to bed.

working away out of your fears in no way works. That which does not kill us can purely make us greater constructive. Face the phobia, pass to camp. Fears get greater suitable the greater we run from them. you have equipped this up on your ideas right into a tremendous monster. only because of the fact it replaced into undesirable one 365 days does not propose it is going to likely be undesirable this time. You get out of the journey what you place into it. connect in, be enthusiastic, make the attempt. this is ONE week. no longer existence imprisonment. ONE week - you could hack it. fake it until eventually you're making it - act advantageous and friendly to others and smile. in no way permit somebody propose or spiteful be responsive to that they have injury you - smile and chortle like it did no longer remember. in case you think of you are going to cry pass someplace inner maximum and splash your eyes afterwards with chilly water so no possible tell. pass off the days each and every night and remind your self which you're sooner or later closer to going abode lower back.
