I try to talk to them every so often...not every day or every month. Keeping in touch with them is good because shows that you care. Plus, when you need them it wouldn't be hard to ask them if you talked to them before.

I have been living at my current address for 3 months now and because it is a flat and the weather was so nice we spent the first couple of months chatting on the doorstep etc. We decided to have a barbeque and a few drinks and although intentions were good this never happened and now the weather is not so good we tend to just pass in the hallway and say hi ! Shame really, but being too close can backfire too , I'm sure !

Yes I do speak to my neighbors. There is one that I kind of avoid because she catches me when I'm on the way to my car to go somewhere.

I only have one neighbour. I dont avoid her, but I dont live on her doorstep either. If I see her while out walking our dogs, I say hello.

If I am in the garden and she is too, then I say "Get out my garden".

luckilly we have good neighbours, we often chat or say hello even borrow sugar or envelopes a few times! what you see on ramsay street or soap operas is not reality most people are at each others throats!

I speak to the side which doesn't make all the noise all the time, but I only say hello and how are you and the kids - that's about it.

I speak to alot of my neighbors. Even hang out with some. It's good to know your neighbors. Never know when you need someone to keep a look out while on vacation.
